Mary Karagianni is a Clinical Embryologist. He is a graduate of the Biology Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her internship at a medically assisted reproduction unit and her thesis on human sperm DNA apoptosis (DFI) were just the beginning of her involvement in Assisted Reproduction.
In 2016 she completed her postgraduate studies in “Reproductive-Regenerative Medicine” at the Department of the School of Medicine of the Kapodistrian University of Athens, and her diploma thesis was about in vitro oocyte maturation (IVM) and oocyte cryopreservation protocols (vitrification).
Since 2010 she has worked in Medically Assisted Reproduction Units in Thessaloniki and Athens where she was head of the embryology and andrology laboratory for 6 years.
She is a member of the Panhellenic Union of Clinical Embryologists (PEKE) and the European Society of Human for Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) since 2013. Since 2017 he has been a member of Embryolab’s laboratory team of clinical embryologists.
