About the Course

Our Blastocyst Biopsy and Tubing Hands-On course offers a well-structured training experience on the theory and practice on PGT lab practices. Over two days, you will gain intense hands-on experience on trophectoderm biopsy, tubing and vitrification of the biopsied blastocysts​.

Prerequisites: Basic experience with IVF lab procedures (such as oocyte handling or ICSI
micromanipulation) is recommended to maximize the benefit from the course.

Training Materials

All necessary training materials and equipment are provided. You will have access to:

  • Practice Embryos: mouse embryos and blastocysts.
  • Micromanipulation Equipment: State-of-the-art inverted microscopes with laser drilling systems, micromanipulators, and biopsy pipettes will be at your disposal, replicating the setup used in IVF clinics.
  • Microscopes and stereoscopes: For Blastocyst handling, TE tubing and vitrification
  • Culture Media & Dishes: All required culture dishes, media, oil, and tools for embryo handling and cell tubing are included.
  • Training Videos & Demonstrations: Concise video presentations and live demonstrations will show each step (from dish preparation to laser technique) before you practice, to advance your learning experience.

Cost

Course Fee: €800 per participant. This fee includes all training materials, use of laboratory equipment, and supplies during the workshop.

What’s included: Tuition for the two-day hands-on course, all practice embryos and lab materials, course manual, and a certificate of attendance upon completion. Lunches and coffee breaks on training days are typically provided as part of the course.

What’s not included: Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and any meals outside of the training sessions (except where specified, such as any group dinner). We can provide guidance on nearby hotels or transportation upon request.
